- 1913 Established by George Foley as “Foley Heating & Plumbing in Kansas City, MO.
- 1948 Ownership is transferred to George Foley’s sons, Ed & Vince Foley.
- 1969 Foley Heating and Plumbing changes name to “Foley Company”.
- 1969 Ownership is transferred to Ed Foley’s son, Donald E. Foley.
- 1972 Foley Company begins pursuing work as a prime contractor on water and wastewater treatment plants.
- 1982 Mike Palmer becomes a partner and 50% owner.
- 1982 Foley Company reincorporates in the state of Missouri under new partnership.
- 1985 Foley Company is acting as a prime contractor on 90% of contracted work pursuing both public and private work in water/wastewater, commercial/healthcare, and power/industrial industries.
- 1997 Mike Palmer becomes sole owner and 100% stock holder.
- 2003 Foley Company becomes wholly owned subsidiary of Otter Tail Corporation (NASDAQ: OTTR). Otter Tail is a power utility company located in Fargo, ND.
- 2010 Foley Company remains a proven leader in the Mechanical Construction Industry. In addition, Foley Company is consistently ranked in the top 100 of all specialty contractors in America.
